Dedicated throughout his distinguished career to advanced education and excellent care for his patients, Dr. Houska has expertise in all facets of general and cosmetic dentistry. His skills as a clinician are widely recognized in the dental field. For more than twelve years in a row, the members of the McLean County Dental Society leadership appointed Dr. Houska as Chairman of their Peer Review Committee, a highly respected position of oversight of the quality of dental care delivered throughout McLean County.

Dr. Houska is a member of the esteemed American Academy of Sleep Medicine, having pursued postdoctoral studies in the field of dental sleep medicine. One of the few dental practitioners in Illinois trained in the treatment of snoring via oral appliance therapy. Dr. Houska provides effective relief for patients to improve their quality of life. For over thirty years, Dr. Houska has continued his postdoctoral education as a member of the Academy of General Dentistry. Advanced study and certification in dental implant restoration and Invisalign treatment give Dr. Houska the ability to deliver a broad range of treatment options to patients in order to optimize dental function and to create beautiful smiles.

A member of the Illinois State Dental Society, American Dental Association, and McLean County Dental Association, Dr. Houska has been named one of the “Top Cosmetic Dentists in America” and completed the two year postgraduate program in dental systems management at the prestigious Pride Institute. He is the founding President of the Psi Omega professional fraternity at Southern Illinois University School of Dental Medicine.

Dr. Houska is the recipient of the Community Partner Award from the BabyFold for providing pro bono dental treatment to the children of the BabyFold for more than 25 years. He has also received recognition from the Boys & Girls Clubs of Bloomington- Normal for his generous support of their programs.

Now retired from clinical practice, bettering people’s lives through beautiful, healthy smiles was a mission for Dr. Holly for over twenty-five years. A special interest in cosmetic dentistry led her to pursue extensive advanced training in esthetic dentistry including training with nationally renowned cosmetic dentistry experts Dr. William

Dorfman (“Extreme Makeover”), and Dr. Bill Dickerson (Las Vegas Institute for Cosmetic Dentistry). Dr. Houska is a member of the McLean County Dental Society, Illinois State Dental Society, and the American Dental Association. Dr. Houska was named one of the “Top Cosmetic Dentists in America” and has received numerous professional and civic awards honoring her commitment to excellence and service. Dr. Holly is a recipient of the YWCA Woman of Distinction Award for Professions in recognition of her accomplishment in her profession and civic leadership. She is a graduate of Leadership Illinois and a member of the National Association of Professional Women.

In fifteen years of service to the Children’s Discovery Museum, Dr. Holly served several terms on the Board of the CDM, served two terms as Chairman of the Children’s Discovery Museum Foundation Board, and was the President of the Children’s Discovery Museum Guild. Holly chaired the committee of the McLean County Dental Society that brought the dental exhibit to the Town of Normal Children’s Discovery Museum. Currently, Holly serves on the American Dental Association Dentist’s Wellness Advisory Committee to the Council on Dental Practice and as Consultant to Chestnut Health Systems in their development of a FQHC Dental Clinic to provide dental care to the underserved in McLean County.

As a Board member of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Bloomington-Normal, Dr. Holly received the Outstanding Board Member for the Midwestern Region Award from Boys & Girls Clubs of America.

Dr Holly was asked to represent the field of dentistry in a multidisciplinary Health Care Focus Group regarding healthcare needs in our community sponsored by the Heartland Community College. Her expertise in the field as well as an unwavering commitment throughout the course of her professional career to providing services to those in need is widely recognized. Dr. Holly has donated her professional services to the Illinois Mission of Mercy, Cunningham Children’s Home, Champaign County Nursing Home, and for two decades provided pro bono dental care to the children of the Baby Fold. Dr. Holly is the recipient of the Baby Fold’s Community Partner Award in recognition of her professional altruism.
